Ormco’s Insignia, an interactive software and custom appliance system, now accepts scans from the Carestream Dental CS 3600 intraoral scanner. Ormco manufactures and provides advanced orthodontic technology and services.
Orthodontists using the intraoral scanner can now submit digital impression .STL files to Insignia through Ormco’s website, according to a press release.
The CS 3600 makes it possible for users to scan in a smooth, uninterrupted manner to reduce the time it takes to capture a digital impression while increasing accuracy. Clinicians using the scanner can now take advantage of the precision and efficiency that Insignia provides.
