Dental Wings recently introduced version 1.7 of its intraoral scanner software.
The updated software is designed to improve scanning parameters for better accuracy and increased speed and fluidity of acquisition, as well as easy reconnection, according to a press release. The software’s automatic bite alignment saves time and is suggested for validation.
Cleaning tools are now part of the “Review” screen. These tools make it possible to remove scan artefacts, such as tongue and cotton roll, before exporting without the need to touch the screen during “Scan” steps.
The intraoral scanner software is compatible with DWOS 6.0 and higher (CAD Software), CARES Visual 10.0 and higher (CAD Software) and DWOS Connect 2.6 and higher (cloud-sharing platform).
