Featuring a new look and improved performance, Dental Wings will debut updated versions of its 3Series, 7Series and iSeries 3D scanners at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting and LMT Lab Day.
All three updated scanners feature internal computers designed to work with the company’s DWOS CAD software allowing them to function as stand-alone scan and design systems, according to a press release. The updates include blue laser scanning technology and solid-state hard drives to enhance scanner performance and reduce scan times.
The new designs also feature wide doors for easy loading and unloading of models and impressions. Finished interiors make it easy to clean the scanners.
