A newly created Orthodontics Advisory Board will help 3Shape develop products that improve orthodontic treatment options and patient care.
The board, which is made up of five orthodontists from around the globe, recently created a four-point plan to guide its work, according to a press release. The plan includes providing 3Shape with feedback about current digital dental technology; recommending steps that can improve patient care; clinical workflows and orthodontic solutions; identifying areas where there is need for new solutions in orthodontics; and sharing best practices in the orthodontic community.
The board members are Dr. Lars Christensen from the UK, Dr. Carlo Marassi from Brazil, Dr. Santiago Isaza Penco from Italy, Dr. Jean-Marc Retrouvey from Canada and Dr. Alain Souchet from France.
