Concert Dental Labs Accepting Cases from Numerous Digital Impression Systems

With an eye on making it easier for dentists to submit cases, Concert Dental Labs is now capable of accepting digital impression files from many leading systems.

The Dallas-based dental lab recently announced that it is capable of accepting files directly from the CEREC systems via the Sirona Connect portal, as well as files sent from Align Technology’s iTero, 3Shape’s TRIOS, and 3M ESPE’s 3M True Definition Scanner, according to a press release. The lab is also capable of accepting open-architecture STL files which can be used for single units, bridges and implant cases from BruxZir, e.Max, as well as PFZ and PFM restorations.

The lab is encouraging digital impression case submissions because they provide optimal fit while saving the patient and the dentist time and expense. Single unit cases sent via digital impression can be completed without the production of a model, which saves additional time and cost.
