Adding to the list of authorized resellers for the company’s TRIOS digital impression system, 3Shape recently announced Biodenta North America as its latest sales and service partner for the U.S. market.
The non-exclusive deal with Biodenta begins immediately, according to a press release. Biodenta will be adding the TRIOS to its DentaSwiss portfolio of digital dentistry products, and the scanner will be sold by the company under the brand name DentaSwiss by 3Shape TRIOS. The company will provide sales, support, training and model production for the digital impression system as well as its complete, integrated digital dentistry solution, according to the release.

Biodenta to sell 3Shape TRIOS®- Digital Impression Solution System to dental professionals
New Jersey - 3Shape, a global leader in 3D scanners and CAD/CAM software for dental applications, announces that it has signed a non-exclusive agreement with Biodenta to sell the 3Shape TRIOS®, a next-generation digital impression solution to dentists, dental specialists and dental schools. Biodenta will start selling the 3Shape TRIOS® from October 2012. Through the 3Shape TRIOS®’ unique design and technology, dentists will be allowed to focus more on treating patients and providing the best quality restorations.

3Shape TRIOS® will be available through Biodenta North America under the label of “DentaSwiss by 3Shape TRIOS ®” and they will also provide first class training, technical support and model production.
The 3Shape TRIOS® is a complete digital impression solution that includes intraoral scanning, clinical scan-validation, and seamless communication with the lab. It enables dentists to rapidly capture the complete intraoral situation and send the 3D model directly to the lab. It does not require pre-spraying of the teeth. The system clinically validates the impression and includes flexible tools allowing dentists to edit their scans.
