The weeklong look back on the most popular Dentalcompare content of the past year wraps up with 10 exciting new innovations that were recently launched.

While there have been numerous interesting and attractive additions to the dental landscape, this list is almost exclusively filled with high tech products. Maybe more materials will make an impact in 2014, but for 2013, technology created the most excitement.

Because of the dental meetings calendar with a pair of high profile fall tradeshows that serve as launching pads for new innovations, our look at 2013 product launches actually encompasses the 13 month period from October 2012 through November 2013. This was done to give those fall launches a fair chance to collect enough views to make the list.

But just because fall 2012 launches had more time to be seen doesn’t mean they dominated the list. The majority of this top 10 were introduced in calendar year 2013, with one product actually launching in October of 2013 still making the top 10. Regardless of when they debuted, all of these products push their categories in new directions and provide dentists with new options to enhance their practices.
