Two molecular tests are available to help periodontists and general dentists identify patients with and at risk for periodontal disease. MyPerioPath detects the presence and quantity of specific bacteria associated with periodontal disease, while MyPerioID PST provides a means of quickly and accurately assessing an individual’s genetic risk for periodontal disease. Used together, these salivary DNA diagnostic tests can help dental professionals reduce patient incidence of periodontal disease.

MyPerioPath provides early and accurate diagnosis of existing periodontal disease by identifying and measuring specific types of bacteria, while MyPerioID PST assesses a patient’s genetic predisposition to developing periodontal disease well before physical symptoms occur.

Designed for use in both private practice and institutional dental care facilities, the Master 3DS cone beam imaging system offers a new GPU solution--3D reconstruction time improved to less than 35 seconds with even less 3D CT scan time: 15 seconds for normal and 24 seconds for high def.

The field-of-view (FOV) selection provision enables the user to select the optimum FOV size (20x19/20x15 cm, 16x10 cm, 16 x 7 cm) and limits the radiation dosage to only the necessary level for examination contained to the region of interest. For example, the FOV size of 20 x 19cm captures a comprehensive 3D view of the entire oral and maxillofacial anatomy including the TMJ, sinus, and airways on a single 360 degree scan whereas the FOV of 16 x 7cm would capture both mandibular condyle and upper and lower occlusion area of oral anatomy.

EzImplant, the dynamic and efficient 3D image solution, offers comprehensive information for precise assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans by using the auxiliary functions such as measuring, canal tracing, cross-sectional viewing and implant simulation.

The Master 3D series provides a selection of voxel sizes which improves the overall image resolution. The smaller voxel size (0.164mm) offers the highest image quality while normal voxel sizes (0.3, 0.4mm) are suitable for diagnostic images with less reconstruction time and smaller file size.
