| Sleep Group Solutions, the leader in dental sleep medicine, is pleased to offer this intro to dental sleep medicine course designed to provide the general dentist with the tools, knowledge and protocols required to begin providing this life saving treatment. SGS has brought in world renowned instructors, all highly credentialed diplomats of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, to teach these seminars and share their personal experiences, cases and techniques.
This seminar is ideal to bring auxiliary staff as well. Front office personnel will be given training on office visit protocols, appointments and insurance. Chair side assistants will be trained on the practical aspects of sleep medicine including airway evaluation, sleep studies, bite registrations and appliance fitting/adjustments.
There are dozens of appliances available to treat snoring and sleep apnea. Unfortunately most of the education available to dentists is sponsored by dentists or companies that own a single appliance and the seminar quickly becomes an infomercial about the benefits of just one appliance. Sleep Group Solutions and our instructors believe that there is no ‘magic’ appliance and we teach the correct protocols and the true pro’s and con’s of all the devices available.
