| An improved version of the TrioDent V-Ring sectional matrix system for Class II composites, Universal V3 Ring is constructed of super-elastic nickel-titanium alloy that consistently delivers optimal separating force and returns to its original shape for predictably tight contacts. The glass-fiber reinforced plastic tines adapt well to buccal and lingual surfaces of posterior teeth for enhanced retention; additionally, the V-shaped tines wrap the matrix closely and trap it against the tooth, creating an ideal cavity form and reducing finishing time. Suitable for a wide range of indications, Universal V3 Ring allows restoration of teeth with missing cusps; wedges can be placed from both the buccal and lingual, even after the ring is placed. In addition to Universal V3 Ring, TrioDent has developed Narrow V3 Ring to ensure ideal separating force on smaller teeth. The system comprises V3 matrix, with a pronounced marginal ridge; the Wave-Wedge, which adapts to the sides of interproximal spaces for an exceptional seal; Pin-Tweezers for simple and accurate matrix and wedge placement; and locking forceps for secure ring positioning. |
