The apex-tapered mini-implant is used to provide increased anchorage stabilization for attachment of orthodontic appliances. ORTHO can be placed quickly and efficiently, with little or no discomfort to the patient. The new implant can be placed with a drill via an injection-free protocol, using a tissue punch and ORTHO driver or thumb wrench.
