This fast-setting material requires special handling when pouring dies. After exposure to air (30 minutes) it develops an unusually dense and smooth surface. Low friction on this glazed finish permits carving instruments to glide over it and allows easy removal of wax patterns. The low setting expansion makes SUPER-DIE one of our most accurate gypsum die materials. An excellent choice for use with hydrocolloid impression material.
