Compared to similar brackets, Nu-Edge® was proven to have the lowest friction level in the industry. The 99.9 percent nickel-free alloy, cobalt-chromium, gives Nu-Edge a lower friction surface. The relative hardness of CoCr alloy also reduces archwire slot collapse from occlusal forces. PrimeKote® technology applied to the bracket bases provides significantly stronger, fatigue-resistant bonds.
