1. 3D digital model is created
From your patient’s impression, OrthoCAD iQ employs a mathematical algorithm that processes the patient’s prescription, dental anatomy, and your prescribed appliances to generate a 3D end-of-treatment outcome with the derived optimal bracket placement to achieve your desired end-of-treatment outcome. Cadent then sends the model to you via the Internet for review.
2. Fine-tune and approve the model
OrthoCAD iQ allows you to simulate treatment strategies and view outcomes onscreen before treatment begins. When you have approved bracket placement, transmitting your specifications to Cadent is as easy as clicking your mouse.
3. Customized trays created
Following your prescription, OrthoCAD iQ creates customized iQ trays that are shipped to your office. Each bracket is in the ideal position to achieve the desired outcome.
