| The DC2000 is a 3/4 hp unit designed to provide adequate dust collection for a single MicroBlaster® model in intermittent use. It is a small, inexpensive unit that can sit next to the workstation, connected by a five-foot length of 4 inches diameter flexible hose. Spent abrasive is trapped on the filter bags as air flows through the filter compartment. The smaller filter area limits the amount of powder that can be absorbed, requiring the operator to shake the bags frequently. | |
