The field-of-view (FOV) selection provision enables the user to select the optimum FOV size (20x19/20x15 cm, 16x10 cm, 16 x 7 cm) and limits the radiation dosage to only the necessary level for examination contained to the region of interest. For example, the FOV size of 20 x 19cm captures a comprehensive 3D view of the entire oral and maxillofacial anatomy including the TMJ, sinus, and airways on a single 360 degree scan whereas the FOV of 16 x 7cm would capture both mandibular condyle and upper and lower occlusion area of oral anatomy.
EzImplant, the dynamic and efficient 3D image solution, offers comprehensive information for precise assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans by using the auxiliary functions such as measuring, canal tracing, cross-sectional viewing and implant simulation.
The Master 3D series provides a selection of voxel sizes which improves the overall image resolution. The smaller voxel size (0.164mm) offers the highest image quality while normal voxel sizes (0.3, 0.4mm) are suitable for diagnostic images with less reconstruction time and smaller file size.
With the new Master 3DS, there are 3 types of patient positioning – standing, seated (optional chair), and wheel-chair-confined patient accessibility.
