| Original 2-Ply and Crown-Pak® 4-Ply retraction cords were the first impregnated dry pack cords produced for the dental profession. Introduced in 1955, they remain the product of choice for those dentists who want the ability to adjust the physical quantities of the cord to match clinical situations. The soft 2-ply and 4-ply cords are loosely wound and the strands are easily separated, twisted or combined to make it readily adaptable for use in the gingival sulcus, regardless of the sulcus size and is suitable for all techniques, including the 2-cord technique. Each bottle is equipped with the Kutter Kap and contains 72 inches of 100% cotton cord (183cm). Impregnated with dl epinephrine HCI (racemic epinephrine) for hemostasis, each linear inch of cord contains a controlled quantity of 0.5mg of solution. Original 2-ply is also available as a plain cord. | |
