| The Elements Obturation Unit is the newest generation of root canal filling devices by SybronEndo. This unit incorporates the System-B electric handpiece as well as the motor driven extruder handpiece designed for backfilling canals. The unit was developed to streamline the heating and condensation of warm gutta percha into three dimensional root canal spaces. Procedures that formerly required two devices can easily be completed by the Elements Obturation Unit.
The unique features of the obturation unit include autoclavable shields that minimize downtime and allow for back to back procedures, insulation technology that keeps the handpiece cool during downpack and backfill and disposable gutta percha cartridges for effortless cleanup.
