Light emitting diodes, more commonly referred to as LEDs, have made dental curing lights even more effective clinical instruments. The newer cordless LED lights offer more power, less weight, enhanced portability, reduced noise and highly efficient curing. However, having a better light also requires having the ability to apply enough of the light to the area being cured.
