Used to close dental surgical sites, PGA sutures are synthetic and made from polyglycolic acid sutures which is resorbable. The use of a resorbable suture allows the patient to avoid a follow-up appointment to remove the sutures, and promotes proper healing. These sutures provide the strength needed to handle intraoral wound closure, and can be available either dyed or undyed.
