 A-dec Launches Certified Pre-Owned Equipment Program

A-dec recently introduced a Certified Pre-Owned Equipment program, giving more dentists access to A-dec equipment.

While there are unauthorized third parties that sell used A-dec dental equipment, the company wanted to develop its own refurbishing process to ensure doctors have “the highest quality equipment and best possible user experience with A-dec,” according to a press release.

Through the program, equipment goes through a rigorous multi-point inspection and is refurbished by A-dec technicians. High wear parts are replaced with new A-dec parts. A-dec is involved with every step of the process, ensuring the equipment meets the company’s standards.

This program not only offers a new option for customers, it also reflects the company’s commitment to supporting sustainability. Useful dental equipment is kept out of landfills, while fewer natural resources are used to refurbish the equipment when compared to manufacturing new.

A-dec Certified Pre-Owned Equipment will be sold in packages on a dedicated website, with sales and installation managed by authorized A-dec dealers. Brand-new formed upholstery, in the customer’s choice of color, is included.

All A-dec Certified Pre-Owned Equipment is backed with a 3-year parts warranty and full access to A-dec customer service and support. The program is only available for U.S. customers at this time.
