BIOLASE introduced its new all-tissue laser, the Waterlase iPlus Premier Edition, at this year’s Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting.
The laser, an updated version of the company’s Waterlase iPlus, features modular software design, providing clinicians with customized procedure packages to ensure they invest in the capabilities they need today and have the ability to easily add features as their practices expand, according to a press release.
This customization will optimize cost-effectiveness as well as facilitate seamless upgrades as practices evolve.
A larger touchscreen display and improved graphic user interface enhances the user experience, providing intuitive controls and modern esthetics. On-board technique animations and protocol guides allow for a seamless introduction to laser procedures.
The all-tissue laser’s new startup and shut down on-board wizards help streamline upkeep, reducing learning curves and helping ensure predictable results even with multiple team members using the system.
The laser also comes with remote diagnostics and support. Wi-Fi connectivity enables efficient troubleshooting, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous practice operation.
