PreXion recently introduced the Evolve intraoral sensor.
The precision intraoral sensor provides high-definition images for accurate, safe diagnosis, according to the company website. The sensor’s seamless connectivity optimizes the intraoral radiography workflow and efficiently manages patient images.
The sensor is fully compatible with all x-ray equipment, while its user-friendly software helps make the transition to digital imaging smooth.
It comes with a USB 2.0 cable that’s easy to replace and features an internal silicone protection system.
The sensor can capture high-definition images in about 5 seconds. It’s based on Cesium Lodide (Csl-TL) technology, which is found in high-definition CT scanners.
The software quickly organizes the images captured, making them easy to access and share. It comes with unlimited licenses and can be stored in multiple computers. Available tools include rotation, zoom, brightness contrast and gamma adjustment, high-relief, text insertion, and full screen image comparison, to name a few.
