 Weave Adds Bulk Texting to its Product Suite

Weave recently added bulk texting to its product suite to increase patient engagement and drive new revenue opportunities for practices.

The feature gives dentists the ability to send a single text to hundreds of patients at once while curating recipient lists and dynamic fields to deliver custom content, according to a press release. Practices can send messages directly from their 10-digit business phone number instead of five-digit short code numbers that are often ignored.

Bulk texting will allow practices to engage and re-engage patients beyond automated recall reminders. Hundreds of targeted messages can be scheduled at once based on various filters including age, appointment type and time since last appointment.

The bulk messaging dashboard gives users access to all bulk text messages from a single page while engagement metrics make it easy to monitor messaging activity, including delivered messages, failed messages, and how many messages were replied to in a given campaign.

Bulk text summary provides an overview of how many texts will be sent and how many remain for the current month. Including dynamic fields that automatically populate with essential information like patient name, practice name, service provider, and office phone number allow users to personalize messages.

Practices also can use schedule sent to send texts immediately, schedule them for a later date or to customize how many messages are sent per day.
