Polaroid HealthCare to Distribute K2 Mobile Cordless Diode Laser in the U.S.

Polaroid HealthCare recently announced the company was selected to distribute Hulaser’s K2 mobile cordless diode laser in the U.S.

The laser, designed in South Korea with major components from Germany and Japan, includes 10 technology patents and two design patents, according to a press release. It’s designed to offer improved efficiency, durability and ergonomics.

The lightweight, balanced K2 weighs 135Gs, including the battery. It features 22 pre-set programs and four user-definable memory settings. With 3.5W of continuous power and up to a 6W pulse, the laser has enough power for most soft tissue procedures.

The K2 features a patented Adjustable Fiber Length (AFL) system for instantly reaching anywhere in the mouth, especially hard to access areas. The laser also comes with autoclavable optic fibers, aluminum front caps and hygienic silicone front covers. The autoclavable optic fibers get up to 50 uses per fiber, making them less than a dollar per use.

The laser comes with a two-year warranty.
