Septodont recently released BioRoot™ Flow, a bioceramic root canal sealer.
The sealer was developed with proprietary hydraulic sealer technology, according to a press release. It creates an alkaline environment that’s unfavorable for bacterial growth and offers long-lasting calcium release essential for bioactivity and mineral tag formation.
The root canal sealer has a working time of more than 60 minutes for multi-rooted molars. It can be used for warm and cold obturation techniques and offers fast removal when re-treating. Pure mineral formulation (eugenol- and resin-free) eliminates shrinkage, microleakage and staining.
The sealer comes in a premixed 2g syringe with 20 bendable tips.
