BISCO recently released FluoroCal, a 5% sodium fluoride varnish.
The varnish penetrates and seals dentin tubules to provide immediate relief to hypersensitive teeth, according to the company website. It contains Tri-Calcium Phosphates (TCP) that release both calcium and fluoride.
FluoroCal, which blends in with natural tooth color, is applied with a brush for fast, easy application.
It is available in a spearmint flavor that is sweetened with xylitol for better patient compliance.
