Komet USA recently introduced hundreds of sterile, single-use burs to its product line.
The single-use diamond and carbide burs are quick and efficient, especially when combined with the company’s multi-use rotary instruments, according to a press release. The burs are available in a variety of shapes and sizes and were developed to strict ISO standards.
The burs are packaged in a class 7 clean room using gamma irradiation sterilization. The carbides and diamonds are pre-sterilized and ready to use out of the packaging.
The diamond burs have a high initial sharpness and the carbides feature strong breakage resistance.
The new single-use burs are available in 239 shapes, sizes and shanks and come in rolls of 25. Each individual bur pouch features a remaining inventory count while QR codes on the packaging make inventory maintenance and reordering easy.
