Keystone Industries recently introduced the newest member of its KeySplint line of 3D printing resins: KeySplint Hard.
The biocompatible resin is designed for high-strength rigid dental splints and night guards, according to a press release. KeySplint Hard features properties, such as elongation at break, that give it comparable strength to other hard splint materials along with added durability over time.
The material also exhibits excellent wear resistance. The finished device is easy to clean, abrasion resistant, stain resistant, and easy to polish, offering both durability and beauty.
KeySplint Hard will launch in the USA, Canada and Europe in early May, with pre-sale options available in late April. The open-source resin will be validated in several 3D printers, including the Asiga Max and Asiga Pro 4K, Carbon M2, Rapidshape dental printers, Sprintray Pro and NEXA dental printers. Keystone is constantly validating new printers, cure boxes and workflows.
