Solmetex recently introduced the PowerScrub vacuum line cleaner.
Featuring SmartScrub technology, the cleaner releases specific enzymes to dissolve vacuum line debris on contact, according to the company website. The eco-friendly, 100% biodegradable formula remains in lines overnight for continual cleaning, rinsing clean when finished.
The cleaner works with all water temperatures, so hot water is not required. It is compatible with all dental vacuum systems and amalgam separators. PowerScrub features a neutral pH between 6 and 8, which meets EPA dental requirements. It is the only vacuum line cleaner recommended for use with the Hg5 Series Amalgam Separators by Solmetex.
The cleaner’s microbial formulation optimizes collection container capacity. There are no harsh chemicals, making the cleaner safe for patients, dental teams and the environment.
