Carestream Dental recently integrated new contactless Patient Forms into its Sensei Cloud, SoftDent and OrthoTrac practice management platforms.
The forms reduce contact between team members and patients, putting patient minds at ease while also improving practice efficiencies, according to a press release. Patients can access the forms before their appointment via a direct link on the practice’s website—minimizing their time in the reception area and the need to touch pens and paper.
If patients arrive without filling out the online forms ahead of time, a secure link can be shared to their phone or tablet.
Because the forms are integrated with the company’s practice management platforms, all the information patients enter is automatically written back to their chart, saving time.
Practices also can customize the forms with practice logos and include additional information beyond the stock forms provided, such as COVID-19 screening forms.
