Keystone Industries and Henkel have collaborated to develop KeyModel Ultra 3D dental modeling resin.
The resin is said to offer a new level of accuracy, detail and speed, according to a press release. It is formulated for rapid printing and fast post curing. It is also designed to reduce peel forces to increase print accuracy.
The resin, available in ivory and light grey, doesn’t require release agents for thermoforming aligners and other devices. The detail it provides helps ensure all thermoformed devices fit as they should. It can be carved without chipping to adjust models as needed.
The material offers an integrated release agent that makes vacuum-formed aligners easier to remove, improving workflow. The companies are supplying the material at a reduced cost, providing more value for end users.
