Bluelight Analytics recently partnered with 3M Oral Care to promote the use of Bluelight CheckUp in dental practices.
With this solution, clinicians can easily test their curing lights in-office, ultimately helping to improve the outcomes of their restorative dentistry, according to a press release.
Proper light curing is critical to the success of restorations. The Bluelight CheckUp radiometer makes it easy to “monitor the health of your curing lights and uncover the risks hidden in your curing protocol,” according to the company website.
When used with the Bluelight Analytics app, the solution gives dentists insights and precise curing times for any combination of materials and lights. This leads to more predictable curing and enhanced restorations. The smart radiometer combines artificial intelligence (AI) and the company’s database of light curing data to inform results.
CheckUp can measure different light modes like ramp and pulse, and accounts for active diameter, wavelength and saturation.
This is the second partnership between Bluelight and 3M Oral Care and comes after the success of the CheckMARC service over the past five years.
