Young Innovations recently introduced Splatter Guard prophy angles to reduce splatter and improve safety.
A “precisely engineered” wiper below the prophy cup is designed to significantly reduce splatter without impacting the quality of the prophy angle, according to a press release. The angle has been under development for more than three years.
The design is said to reduce airborne particles during prophylaxis polishing, improving safety.
The disposable prophy angles are available in both Vera and Young Slim styles.
