Midmark recently announced updates to the Midmark M3 Steam Sterilizer and the release of the new Sterilizer Data Logger.
The enhanced sterilizer has a compact design and quickly processes instruments and handpieces, according to a press release. Built-in safety features mean there’s no supplemental air and water filtration systems to maintain, simplifying instrument sterilization. The sterilizer is available in the U.S. now and is expected to be available in Canada in November.
The Sterilizer Data Logger automatically records and stores a sterilizer’s physical and mechanical performance records. Adding the logger to a M9 or M11 steam sterilizer gives clinicians the ability to keep years of data on a USB. This makes information easy to transfer, saves time during audits and makes it easier to troubleshoot any issues.
The company also has announced a sterilizer program with two rebate options. Through December 31, clinicians can receive a $550 rebate when they purchase an M9 or M11 sterilizer with a Sterilizer Data Logger. A $350 rebate is available with the purchase of any M3, M9 or M11 sterilizers without a data logger.
