New Dental Products: SprintRay Pro Wash/Dry, Dashboard 2.0 with Design Services and Pro 55 3D Printer

SprintRay recently introduced three products for dental 3D printing that promote a “frictionless workflow”: the SprintRay Pro Wash/Dry, Dashboard 2.0 with Design Services and the Pro 55 3D Printer.

The SprintRay Pro Wash/Dry is an advanced multi-stage automated wash system, according to a press release. Using Mechanical Jetting, a patented solvent agitation method, the system can wash 3D printed parts with 500 mL of solvent per chamber.

Two separate solvent reservoirs help ensure a rough and fine wash are performed with each cycle. The automated two-stage wash and dry is completed in 10 minutes. Pre-calibrated hydrometers notify users when it’s time to replace solvent.

The wash system is available for preorder now with shipping in 2021.

Dashboard 2.0 is a cloud system for appliance design and print management that makes ordering and printing appliances seamless. It features a user-friendly interface that allows clinicians to upload scan files and treatment options before automatically connecting them with a design expert.

Communication tools such as live chat and 3D model review make it easy to work through revisions. Once the design is approved, the cloud system automatically sends the job to SprintRay Pro.

SprintRay Dashboard 2.0 will be available in late 2020 with design services for occlusal guards and smile design.

SprintRay Pro55 offers high-resolution printing. The 3D printer focuses on providing parts for treatments that require fine margins. It features a 55-micron XY resolution and Pixel Toning, making it well suited for direct restorative work, hybrid implant dentures and cast applications.
