Kerr Dental recently released SimpliShade universal composite, the newest member of its Simplicity product line.
The composite comes in three shades to match all 16 VITA Classical shades, streamlining restoration needs and inventory management, according to a press release. It’s powered by Adaptive Response Technology (ART), the same technology found in the company’s Harmonize universal composite, for lifelike restorations with optimal strength and esthetics.
Reducing the number of shades makes it faster and easier to match shades, reducing chair time, which is a benefit for both patients and doctors. With only three shades to manage, dentists don’t have to worry about stocking shelves, re-ordering and keeping track of expired products, saving them time. It also declutters storage space and frees up more room for the PPE and infection-prevention items that dentists need to protect against COVID-19.
