Colgate-Palmolive recently introduced hum by Colgate, a smart electric toothbrush that is designed to guide users to improve their brushing.
The electric toothbrush features smart sensors that make it easy to track brushing frequency, duration and coverage, according to a press release. It also provides personalized guidance to help target spots that need extra attention.
The lightweight, sleek toothbrush offers personalized guided brushing programs and has user friendly connected technology. Offline brushing allows the toothbrush to store data for 10 days so users don’t always need to have their smart phone at the sink or be logged into the app while brushing. Integration with the Apple Health app saves data, making it easier for users to improve their oral health habits.
Users also can earn smile points on the hum by Colgate app that can be used to purchase products in the in-app shop, including hum refill brush heads and products from partner brands.
The toothbrush is available as a rechargeable or battery-powered brush and comes in blue, teal and purple. It will be available beginning in September.
