Ultradent Products recently released its new Photobiomodulation (PMB) Adapter, which works exclusively with the company’s Gemini™ 810 + 980 soft tissue diode laser.
When paired with the laser, the adapter makes it possible for clinicians to treat a variety of conditions, specifically pain management in conditions such as TMJ disorders, according to a press release. The tool expands the Gemini’s ability to provide non-invasive treatments in one easy-to-use device.
The company has done a lot of research to demonstrate the benefits of photobiomodulation treatments. The PBM adapter functions on the 810 wavelength, the optimal wavelength to be absorbed for photobiomodulation.
