Formlabs recently launched Formlabs Dental, the company’s new dedicated dental business unit.
As 3D printer adoption grows in the industry, Formlabs Dental has put together a team of dental professionals dedicated to providing the best 3D printing solutions, according to a press release. The new Form 3B printer and platform will be offered through Formlabs dental, and will have the next generation of dental materials, dedicated service team, and software to help streamline workflows.
Formlabs has more than 50 materials scientists and print process engineers to back Formlabs Dental products. Formlabs offers more than 10 dental materials that can be used on the new Form 3B printer, including in-house developed biocompatible Surgical Guide Resin. Formlabs also has four new shades in the Dentures material library. The company continues to improve and launch new print settings for its legacy Dental SG and Dental LT materials.
Formlabs Dental also announced the Formlabs Materials Partner Platform for the Form 3B. The Formlabs Materials Partner Platform allows third party manufacturers to work together with Formlabs to bring the best materials to the market.
