Hu-Friedy recently introduced Streamline PLUS Ultrasonic Inserts, the latest addition to its Streamline insert portfolio.
The ultrasonic inserts feature the ergonomic handle design of the company’s top-selling Swivel inserts without the swivel functionality, according to a press release. This allows clinicians to choose the insert that works best with their equipment without sacrificing comfort.
They also have a uniform, wide diameter handle and are designed to reduce finger pinching and hand fatigue, while also allowing for easy movement when shifting grip location. The textured silicone grip allows for a secure grasp.
The color-coded inserts make identification easy, while a natural-color, tapered cone positioned between the grip and shank provides an unobstructed view of the treatment site.
The inserts are available in seven tip designs so clinicians can select the optimal tip for thorough cleaning during prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and other non-surgical periodontal procedures. Direct flow water delivery provides targeted lavage with reduced excess spray. The blend of stainless steel maximizes reliability, tip life, and corrosion resistance.
