Designed for use in a range of clinical situations, Take 1 Retraction Paste from KaVo Kerr is a minimally invasive material capable of promoting moisture control and hemostasis while providing temporary gingival retraction.
The dual-action paste features a formulation of 15 percent aluminum chloride and kaolin clay, according to a press release. The material is suited for use with both traditional and digital impressions, crown and veneer cementation, and Class II, Class III and Class V composite restorations. The paste is available in a Low Viscosity formulation as well as a High Viscosity formulation, and both are gentle on patients and simple to clean off tissue.
The material comes packaged in unit dose capsules with retraction caps and tips that are compatible with standard composite dispensers.
