A partnership between Dentsply Sirona and Carbon aims to develop the first premium quality printable denture system.
The two companies plan to develop a seamless workflow that combines Carbon's Digital Light Synthesis 3D printing technology with Dentsply Sirona's expertise in CAD/CAM dentistry and removable materials, according to a press release. The partnership plans to develop a digital denture solution with superior esthetics and durability. The first Dentsply Sirona denture materials for Carbon 3D printers are expected to be available later in 2019.
