Prisyna, the oral care division of Synedgen, recently launched its Moisyn product line to treat xerostomia.
The products feature glycomics technology, according to a press release. The line’s glycomics targeted therapy has been shown to reduce pain associated with dry mouth to increase comfort. In a clinical study, patients who used Moisyn up to four times daily experienced statistically significant reductions in symptoms associated with dryness.
Moisyn reduces mouth pain, gives patients an improved ability to sleep, eat and swallow, as well as an improved sense of taste.
