Microcopy Thinks Pink, Supporting the Fight Against Breast Cancer
Raising Breast Cancer Awareness
Kennesaw, Georgia— Microcopy, a leader in the design and development of innovative products for the dental industry has ended 2017 with its 4th annual “Pink to Make You Think” campaign. Just as in years past, the industry-leading NeoDrys saliva absorbents were produced in PINK and a portion of the proceeds of all NeoDrys sales from October through December are donated to the American Cancer Society.
For over 100 years the American Cancer Society has funded groundbreaking research that helps understand cancer's causes, determine how best to prevent it, and discover new ways to cure it. They have had a hand in nearly every major cancer breakthrough of the last century, including developing drugs to treat advanced breast cancer and showing that mammography is the most effective way to detect breast cancer.
According to BreastCancer.org, for women in the United States, breast cancer death rates are higher than death rates for any other type of cancer, besides lung cancer. “The fight to end breast cancer starts with one commitment, too many women are affected by this disease and we want to help change that.” said Heather Siler, Marketing Manager for the program. Microcopy plans to run the campaign again in the latter part of 2018 in hopes that the proceeds will be greater and in turn make a greater impact on the fight against breast cancer. Together we can make a difference.
