Midmark Corp. recently held an open house to showcase the new Midmark Dental Health Clinic.
Located in the Ned J. Sifferlen Health Sciences Center at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, the clinic features advanced equipment and furnishings from Midmark, according to a press release. The fully functional dental hygiene clinic offers low-cost exams and cleanings to the public. It also serves as a teaching facility focused on training students enrolled in the college’s Dental Hygiene Program.
Midmark worked closely with Sinclair representatives to design and outfit the clinic’s 25 stations. Each station features a Midmark Elevance Dental Chair, delivery unit, LED lighting and other equipment.
The Midmark Dental Health Clinic provides close to $500,000 of patient care to about 1,500 uninsured or underinsured children and adults each year, including senior citizens and military veterans. With the new equipment and furnishings from Midmark, Sinclair is expecting to grow those numbers by about 20 percent.
