Midmark Corp. recently released the QuickClean Ultrasonic Cleaner.
The ultrasonic cleaner is 150 percent more effective than the company’s previous units, according to a press release. It reportedly washes instruments in preparation for sterilization in less than half the time required by traditional ultrasonic cleaners and is more effective and consistent than manual cleaning.
The unit features Frequency-Leap technology, which disperses water evenly across the tank. This ensures used instruments are fully cleaned, no matter their placement. Using QuickClean also minimizes the risk of injuries or infection from exposure to contaminated instruments that occur during manual washing.
Three tabletop sizes and two recessed units are available, providing options to fit any instrument processing configuration or workflow. QuickClean is easy to use right out of the box.
Other features include a digital LCD control panel that displays prompts; options for preset or customized settings; intelligent software that remembers the last cycle settings; and a fluid sensor that ensures the bath always has sufficient water levels.
