Dentsply Sirona, The Dental Solutions Company, recently acquired RTD (Recherche Techniques Dentaires), a privately owned French company that manufactures fiber-reinforced composite posts.
RTD’s offering complements Dentsply Sirona’s R2C - The Root to Crown Solution, according to a press release. R2C provides advanced products and procedural guidance from diagnosis and treatment planning to the final coronal restoration. R2C and the RTD acquisition will enable the company to provide dental professionals with a more complete end-to-end solution for better, safer and faster root canals and tooth restoration.
Dentsply Sirona will continue to support and grow RTD’s brand and private label businesses. RTD has supplied Dentsply Sirona with root canal posts for many years.
