Ivoclar Vivadent recently introduced the IPS e.max Ceram Selection Master Series.
The product range includes Enamel and Effect powders characterized by vibrant colors and optimal light-optical properties, according to a blog post. The materials are used in combination with the existing IPS e.max Ceram materials to create esthetic, lifelike features.
Dental technicians, including Oliver Brix, August Bruguera and Gérald Ubassy, played a key role in the development of the IPS e.max Ceram Selection. Each of them created special blends developed from years of mixing. The starter kit (684732EN) contains all 12 of the new powders along with a technique booklet.
The 12 shades are divided into three groups according to light-optimal properties: Special Enamel, Light Reflector and Light Absorber. Special Enamel powder comes in six shades (aqua, citrine, honey, apricot, quartz and diamond) and exhibits enamel-like translucency. The Light Reflector materials are available in silk, salmon and cream while the Light Absorber materials come in fog, lavender and taupe.
