3Shape Users Now Have Access to Straumann Implant Bars and Bridges

Straumann original implant bars and bridges are now available to lab technicians through their 3Shape software.

Once they access the implant bar and bridge libraries in the software, the 3Shape design files are sent to Straumann global production facilities for manufacture, according to a press release.

Straumann CARES Screw-Retained Bridges and Bars allow for the construction and manufacturing of complex superstructures. They are available in two materials, titanium grade 4 and cobalt-chromium alloy (coron) for the restoration of Straumann implants.

Original Straumann libraries (DME files) for implant bars and bridges will be available free with the Dental System 2017 software, which is expected to be released in May. Existing 3Shape users interested in the libraries can contact Straumann.
